Officers seize mini motor bikes

Mini motorbikes and a motorised go-kart have been seized by police in Scunthorpe after complaints about noise nuisance over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Officers stopped two people riding mini bikes, the first on Chaucer Avenue and the second on Ormsby Road. Both bikes were seized by patrols.

A motorised go-kart being driven up and down a public road was seized by police on Peacock Street.

Humberside Police said the bikes and go-kart were potentially a safety risk.
