Two people had to be freed from a minibus which crashed on a suspected ice-covered road in East Yorkshire early on Wednesday.
About seven other passengers in the bus had managed to climb out of the stricken vehicle before rescue crews arrived at the A166 near Garrowby Hill.
The driver had to be cut free by Humberside Fire and Rescue teams while a woman passenger was also pulled out.
Firefighters had to warn other colleagues of the icy roads.
Fire service spokesman Glenn Ramsden said crews were also called to a prefabricated metal building which had blown down shortly before midnight in Scunthorpe in what he described as a "reported mini whirlwind".
Council officials were dealing with the damage to the structure at the corner of Northampton Road and Kettering Road in the town.
At Flamborough a car flipped onto its roof after sliding on black ice close to the links golf course early on Wednesday.
The driver had been freed before rescue crews arrived at the scene.
