A teenaged crew member who was evacuated from a yacht after falling ill during a round-the-world race is to travel back to his home in Hull.
Sam Willis, 17, is expected to return to the UK with his father after doctors in Brazil ruled out appendicitis.
On Friday he left the Hull and Humber, which is taking part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
The yacht was racing from Salvador to Durban when it was diverted so Sam could receive hospital treatment.
It is not yet known what caused the teenager's severe stomach pains.
The Hull and Humber is in the early stages of the third race in leg one of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
It has now rejoined the race and its crew hope Sam will be able to join them later next month when they call into South Africa at the end of leg two.
The yacht is taking part in a 4,000 nautical mile voyage and has been at sea for 34 days.
