Hospital chaplain killed in crash

A motorist killed in a crash in Worcestershire was a hospital chaplain.

Rev Ian Scott, 63, chaplain at Evesham Community Hospital, died at the scene of the crash on the A4103 at Bransford, near Worcester, on Saturday evening.

His widow, Sue Scott, remains in a stable condition in hospital. Five people in another car involved in the crash have since been discharged.

A man in his 20s arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and causing death by dangerous driving was released on bail.
