A Worcestershire parish council has apologised following complaints jokes in a newsletter were racist and sexist.
Cofton Hackett Parish Council chairman Richard Deeming said it was a "one-off sort of situation" and he would make sure "it doesn't happen again".
Bromsgrove District Council said it had received various complaints about the Cofton Hackett magazine.
Peter McDonald, Bromsgrove district councillor, said the pages "could have been a lot more worthwhile."
