Jobs go at riverside bar complex

A company which runs a conference centre with bars and restaurants in Hereford has folded with the loss of up to 70 jobs.

Esquire Holdings Ltd has been running the riverside complex at Left Bank, Bridge Street, insolvency specialists Smith Cooper said.

It added it had been instructed by directors to place Esquire Holdings Ltd into liquidation.

All staff have lost their jobs, Smith Cooper said.

A spokesman added that Esquire Holdings Ltd had been unable to cover its overheads and had ceased trading.
