A section of the M5 in Worcestershire has reopened after being closed for 15 hours when a tanker overturned and spilled fuel on to the carriageway.
The crash happened at about 0815 GMT on the northbound carriageway, near Dunstall Common on Sunday, closing the motorway between junctions 8 and 7.
The tanker ended up in a field next to the motorway.
Ambulance crews checked the driver at the scene and found he was not hurt. No-one else was injured in the crash.
Acting Insp Rob Barker, of Central Motorway Police, said a crane was needed to remove the lorry from the site and another tanker transported the fuel from the crashed vehicle.
Six appliances were sent to the scene by the fire service who dealt with the fuel spillage.
The motorway was reopened shortly before midnight on Sunday.
