Cyclist killed in lorry collision

A cyclist has been killed in a collision with a lorry in Worcester.

The crash took place close to the Crown Inn public house on the A443 Hallow Road, shortly after 1400 GMT.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said nothing could be done to save the man and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for a short time following the collision. West Mercia Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
