Two killed in crash on main road

Two people have been killed and a third seriously injured in a crash on a road in Herefordshire.

A car and a motorcycle were involved in the crash on the A49 in Much Birch shortly after 1020 BST.

Ambulance crews called to the scene said a male motorcyclist was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards.

Another man, thought to be the car driver, was confirmed dead at the scene. A woman passenger was taken to hospital with head injuries.
