Teenager killed in two-car crash

A teenager died and three others were seriously injured when two cars collided in Worcestershire.

The crash, at Leigh Sinton in Malvern, involved a Vauxhall Corsa carrying four people and a Land Rover Discovery driven by an elderly man.

The Corsa's driver was cut from the wreckage on Sherridge Road and airlifted to hospital, where he died.

Three passengers from the same car, two men and a woman, were badly hurt in the crash on Tuesday morning.

All are being treated at the Worcester Royal Hospital, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said.

The driver of the Land Rover was checked over by paramedics but did not need hospital treatment.
