A boy with a rare skin condition has been given a set of Harry Potter books signed by their author to raise money for youngsters with the same illness.
Eight-year-old David Middleton received the books after his mother wrote to JK Rowling asking for her help to raise money for a support group.
David, of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, has Xeroderma Pigmentosum.
The condition means exposure to sunlight increases his risk of developing cancer or blindness.
The set of signed books will be auctioned in November.
The auction, for the XP Support Group, will coincide with the release of the sixth Harry Potter film in cinemas.
