Funding for academies 'confirmed'

Funding for two new academy schools in Herefordshire has been confirmed, according to the area's MP.

Paul Keetch, Lib Dem MP for Hereford, said Lord Adonis of the Department for Children, Schools and Families had told him the money was available.

The first, the Hereford Steiner Academy, will be built on the site of the Waldorf Steiner School in Much Dewchurch.

The second, the Hereford Academy, replaces Wyebridge Sports College.
