No broadband for some rural areas

Some rural parts of Herefordshire still do not have high-speed internet access, according to research by the council.

The economy in the area will be held back unless broadband is provided to the whole county, Councillor Peter Watts said.

He claimed companies wanted to come to the area but sometimes they heard the broadband is "not so good".

"I feel that in this day and age something should be done about this," he added.
