Speakers back for Rod tribute act

Stan Terry and Rod Stewart

A Rod Stewart impersonator has had his equipment worth nearly £5,000 handed back to him after it was stolen.

Stan Terry, from Malvern, Worcs, feared for the future of his act after thieves took the speakers from his Thirlstane Road garage earlier this month.

West Mercia Police said a man had been arrested in connection with the theft and had been released on bail.

Mr Terry said: "This is what I call a real result. I didn't think I would ever see my stuff again."

He added: "I just can't believe it."

Mr Terry, who performs across the UK, even had members of the real Rod Stewart's family attend his recent 50th birthday party.
