Man killed and boy hurt in crash

A man has died in a car crash in Herefordshire in which a teenage boy was also seriously injured.

Emergency crews were called to the A465 in Wormbridge, near Bridges Nursery, shortly after 2105 GMT on Thursday.

The man, who has not been named, died at the scene of the crash, which involved two cars.

A 14-year-old boy from Powys, Wales, suffered serious injuries to his face, chest and back. He was taken to Hereford County Hospital.

A 25-year-old woman was also treated for an ankle injury.
