The body of a man found washed up along the shoreline in Portsmouth has been formally identified.
Paul Vigay, 44, of Manners Road, Southsea, had been reported missing at about 2300 GMT on Thursday.
Hampshire Police said a passerby spotted his body in the water at Eastney Esplanade, near to the Royal Marines Museum, on Friday morning.
His death was not being treated as suspicious. A post-mortem examination will take place later.
