Gun shots fired at house and car

Addison Road

Gunshots were fired at a house in Hampshire while two men and a 17-year-old boy were inside.

The trio were inside a property in Addison Road, Sarisbury Green, when the front door and a vehicle in the driveway were shot at on Sunday night.

No-one was hurt but the address was cordoned off while forensic tests were carried out.

Police said they believed the house was targeted deliberately and appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Det Insp Nigel Oliver, from Hampshire police, said: "Police are treating this report as an isolated incident.

"We believe this property damaged was specifically targeted by those responsible and was not the result of a random act.

"There is no evidence to suggest anyone else is at risk."

House-to-house inquiries were also carried out in the area.
