Investigation into pony deaths

Police have started an investigation after two ponies were found dead in a ford in Hampshire.

Officers received a call alerting them to the dead animals in Ford Lane, Bramshill, on Friday.

Police said the dark bay mare and dark bay filly could have been killed and dumped in the ford.

But they also said the pair could have died from natural causes. Officers appealed to anyone with information to come forward.
