A family has paid tribute to a "gentle and caring" man who died when he was hit by a car in Hampshire.
Deryck Wyatt, 66, was knocked down as he crossed the road at a bus stop in Headley Down, Bordon.
Police have urged passengers travelling on the number 18 Stagecoach bus when it was in Grayshott Road at the time of the crash on Friday to contact them.
A 62-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and bailed until 3 March 2009.
Head and chest injuries
Officers would also like to speak to a cyclist who was travelling from Grayshott towards Bordon.
Mr Wyatt, of Headley Down, died from head and chest injuries, post-mortem tests showed.
A family statement said: "Deryck leaves behind a loving wife, children and grandchildren.
"He contributed so much to the local community and devoted much of his time to charity work.
"With his gentle, kind and humorous nature he will be sorely missed by both family and friends."
Sgt Glen Barham, from Hampshire police, said: "Passengers on the bus when it was in Grayshott Road may have vital information to assist us even if they did not witness the crash."
