Woman died from ligature injury

A woman whose body was found at a property in Hampshire died as a result of a ligature to the neck, a post-mortem examination has found.

The body of a middle-aged woman was found on Monday at a house in Bramble Walk, Lymington.

A man in his 50s from the Lymington area who was arrested over the death, has been released on bail while police continue their inquiry.

Police have said they are not looking for anyone else over the inquiry.

Police have not yet formally identified the woman.
