Man denies attacking with machete

A man has denied a machete attack in Hampshire on the boyfriend of Sugababes' singer Amelle Berrabah.

Jimmy Wenman, 29, of Rectory Lane, Bentley, pleaded not guilty to wounding with intent against Freddie Fuller, 25, at Winchester Crown Court on Friday.

Mr Fuller was treated for severe injuries to his arms and legs after an incident near a pub in Aldershot, on Christmas Eve last year.

Mr Wenman will stand trial at Winchester Crown Court on 17 November.

He was released on conditional bail.
