Man remanded over woman's murder
A 21-year-old man was remanded in custody when he appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman.
The body of Hollie Green, 21, an optician, was discovered at her home in Taranto Road, Southampton, shortly before 0500 BST on Sunday.
Post-mortem examinations showed she died of injuries to her neck. Further examinations are being carried out.
Daniel Gibbons, also of Taranto Road, will next appear at Winchester Crown Court on Tuesday.
