Trains had to be temporarily suspended when a lorry became stuck under a railway bridge in Hampshire.

The 13ft (3.9m) frozen goods lorry was wedged under the 11ft (3.3m) bridge over the A27 Bassett Green Road, in the Swaythling area of Southampton.

Southwest Trains were suspended in the Swaythling area for 20 minutes while the lorry was removed.

Traffic was backing up and parts of the bridge and the lorry were reported to have come away.
