Film captures moment horse bolted

The moment a Shire horse bolted into a crowd injuring six people at a show in Hampshire has been caught on film.

The dramatic footage was taken by an onlooker at the heavy horse event in Southsea on Sunday afternoon.

Two people sustained fractured ankles, a pregnant woman was treated for shock and three others were injured.

The Health and Safety Executive has started an investigation along with the event organisers the Portsmouth Leisure Community Association.

Portsmouth City Council, which employed the community association, has also started a review.

The footage taken by Sue Capes has now been posted on the video sharing website YouTube.
