Georgina Edmonds was found dead by her son in the kitchen of her home in Kiln Lane, Brambridge, on 11 January.
A man was seen on CCTV footage using Mrs Edmonds' card at a Tesco Express cash machine on Twyford Road, Eastleigh, at 2240 GMT later that day.
Several cars are seen on CCTV images passing by.
Detectives have also released an enhanced image of the man using Mrs Edmonds' bank card.
Det Ch Insp Paul Barton, said: "We would urgently like to identify this man.
"The man appears to be wearing a distinctive yellow fluorescent anorak, light-coloured jeans and light-coloured training shoes with three stripes on the sides.
"We have sought the views of an expert and believe this man is around 5ft 11in in height.

"He uses the machine and then walks in the direction of Albert Road which leads to Consort Road, Eastleigh."
On Monday officers released two e-fits of men they also want to speak to.
The men were seen at the Brambridge Garden Centre at 1000 and 1430 GMT on the day Mrs Edmonds died.
One of the men is aged in his late 20s to early 30s, more than 6ft, of slim build with mousey blond hair.
He wore a dark blue three-quarter-length jacket.
The other man is aged in his late 30s to early 40s, shorter in height and had a larger build.
He also had a darker complexion and short, cropped dark-coloured hair.
Post-mortem tests showed Mrs Edmonds died of extensive head injuries. Last week Mrs Edmonds' daughter appealed for help in finding her mother's killer.
Doddie Edmonds, who works as a nurse in Kenya and Sudan, said she was shocked by her mother's murder.
A distinctive key fob, Mrs Edmonds' cash card, cheque book and handbag have all been missing since the killing.
Officers began searching a house in Twyford Road, two miles from where Mrs Edmonds was killed, two weeks after her death.
Detectives also want to talk to anyone who used the footpath that runs alongside the River Itchen, south from Brambridge towards Highbridge Road, Allbrook Hill and Twyford Road.
Four men were arrested on 14 January. Three of them were released without charge the following day, while a 37-year-old man was released on bail.
