Police recapture escaped prisoner
A prisoner who escaped from custody in Hampshire more than a week ago has been recaptured in Oxfordshire.
Michael Andrew Tutt, 24, from Swanmore, Southampton, was on remand for burglary and robbery offences and was being taken from Winchester prison.
He was being transferred from a van to Eastleigh police station when he ran off on 7 December wearing handcuffs.
Hampshire Police said he was arrested by Thames Valley Police in Banbury on Sunday and remains in custody.
