Body found off the Isle of Wight
A body has been recovered from the sea off the coast of the Isle of Wight.
A search began this afternoon after a ferry passenger reported seeing something in the water.
A lifeboat crew from the RNLI discovered the body off Bembridge Ledge, which is on the east coast of the island.
Coastguards confirmed the body, which has not been identified, was found at 1631 (BST), and a police launch was sent out to collect the remains.
