A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car.

The 38-year-old, from the Godshill area, collided with the car on the A3056, near Newchurch on the Isle of Wight on Thursday.

The 74-year-old driver of the car involved in the crash had to be treated for shock, a police spokesman said.
