Man bailed after stairwell death

A man arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in a stairwell has been released on bail.

Malcolm Bryan, 67, of Fratton, Hampshire, was found with multiple injuries in a block of flats in Lords Street on Wednesday night.

A 50-year-old man, arrested on Thursday, has been bailed by police until 16 November.

Officers said inquiries into the death were continuing and they were keen to talk to any witnesses.
