Twenty-one caravans have been destroyed in a blaze at a retail park in Longlevens, Gloucester.

Firefighters were called to Pearman Briggs on Cheltenham Road, in the early hours of Sunday.

A Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said five crews attended the scene.

A police spokesman said that one person had been arrested and was being held in custody but he would not release any further details.

Witnesses to the fire, which started at about 0330 BST, are asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.

Fire crews remained on the scene for two hours damping down.
