Eight children at a school in Gloucestershire have been diagnosed with swine flu and 11 other girls, not yet tested, could also have the virus.
Westonbirt School, near Tetbury, said the pupils, all aged between 11 and 14, were kept in isolation until their parents collected them on Friday.
The independent boarding school, which has 250 pupils, has postponed its end-of-term speech day until the Autumn.
The Rose Hill Westonbirt School has not been affected.
