Cold weather closes three schools

Three primary schools in Gloucestershire have been closed because of the cold weather.

Queen Margaret in Tewkesbury, Bourton on the Water Primary and Ann Cam Church of England school in Dymock have been forced to close.

Jeff Black from Gloucestershire County Council told BBC News that burst pipes and heating failures had combined to cause the problem.

BBC weatherman Ian Fergusson said Tuesday night would also be very cold.
