Cannabis factory at business park

A large cannabis factory has been discovered by police at a business park in the Forest of Dean.

Officers found a hydroponics system at Seymour Business Park in Steam Mills Road, Cinderford, on Monday.

There were no drugs left at the unit but police believe cannabis plants had been harvested at the site.

The scale of the set-up suggests it could have consisted of thousands of plants with a potential street value of more than £100,000, police said.

There was evidence at the scene suggesting people were living in the unit whilst growing the plants.

Police said they were now investigating the lease of the unit and evidence gathered from scenes of crime officers.
