Biker critical after collision

A motorcyclist is in a critical but stable condition in hospital after a collision on the B4008 at Standish.

The 29-year-old man from Quedgeley, Gloucester, crashed near to a railway bridge shortly after 1700 BST on Thursday, 13 September.

He was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital by ambulance, then subsequently transferred to Frenchay Hospital, near Bristol.

An appeal for witnesses to the collision has been made by police.
