Woman killed in two-vehicle crash

A woman has died after a two-vehicle crash in Gloucestershire.

The unnamed victim was driving a Citroen which collided with a Land Cruiser on the A417 at Ampney Crucis on Tuesday evening.

She was taken to Cheltenham General Hospital by ambulance where she was later declared dead.

The three people in the Land Cruiser sustained minor injuries. Police are investigating the cause of the crash and are appealing for witnesses.
