Man held in fraud investigation

A 46-year-old man from Brockworth in Gloucestershire has been arrested as part on an ongoing fraud investigation.

Search warrants were executed at addresses in Tewkesbury and Brockworth, and in Southend, Essex, and near Warwick, Warwickshire.

The man who was arrested on suspicion of corruption and money laundering is in custody being questioned.

The operation involved 100 officers in total, 75 of whom work for Gloucestershire Police.
