Men arrested over cabbie attack
Two men have been arrested following the attempted robbery of a taxi driver in Cheltenham at the weekend.
Police said the 41-year-old was taking two passengers to Benhall Avenue on Saturday night when he was attacked.
As the men were being dropped off, one hit the driver in the face twice, then tried to grab his wallet and money bag.
A 21-year-old man has been released on police bail, pending further inquiries. A second man, aged 25, has been released without charge.
The driver suffered minor injuries but did not need hospital treatment.
