Biker seriously hurt in collision

A motorcyclist from Stroud has been seriously injured after his machine was involved in an accident with a car.

The man, thought to be in his 30s, was riding a Honda 750 that collided with a silver Citroen on Monday morning.

The accident at the junction of Badgeworth Lane and Brookfield Road, Churchdown, Gloucestershire, closed the road for several hours.

Police said the road was busy when the accident happened and are appealing for witnesses.
