Lorries filled with goods stolen

Two lorries have been taken from a company in Gloucestershire containing goods valued at nearly £300,000.

Police were called to Downton Real Distribution Solutions in Bristol Road, Moreton Valence, early on Monday, after reports of two lorries been driven off.

One contained more than 600 Dyson vacuum cleaners, the other wine.

One of the lorry cabs was recovered in Tewkesbury but the other is still missing along with the two articulated trailers and their contents.

A police spokesman said the missing DAF lorry cab is red-coloured and its registration number is VX04 NPY.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious between 0300 and 0500, on 2 October, to contact them or Crimestoppers.
