Dentists in Essex will be taking their chairs out to the streets to offer people a free check-up.
NHS North East Essex is starting the campaign to attract those who would not normally visit a dentist.
The aim is to make sure every person who has not seen a dentist in at least 24 months has a check-up.
They will be offering their services from Saturday until the end of January at locations such as supermarkets and leisure centres.
Commissioning manager of primary care at NHS North East Essex, Kathy Flegg, said: "The check-ups are totally free so we hope people will take advantage.
"We are particularly keen to see people who haven't been to the dentist in the past two years, but anyone is welcome to have an impromptu check-up."
