Leonard Smith, 50, of Dagenham, east London, has been charged with nine counts of conspiracy to rob.

He is due before magistrates on Monday. Three people had earlier been charged with offences connected to the robbery.

On Saturday, Brian Wall, 61, of Elstow Road, Dagenham, was charged with attempted murder and nine counts of conspiracy to rob.

Liza Smith, 34, of Dell Close, London, and Terry George Smith, 49, of Point Road, Canvey Island, were arrested and charged with nine counts of conspiracy to rob, including the Rayleigh robbery.

The pair are unrelated.

The three appeared before Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Saturday and were remanded in custody to Chelmsford Crown Court on 4 August.
