Arrests over missing taxi driver

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the disappearance of an Essex taxi driver four months ago.

David Venables, 68, of Moreton Road, Fyfield, near Harlow, who suffers from Parkinson's Disease, was reported missing by his wife on 29 June.

His taxi was found abandoned in a car park in north west London in July.

Police said a 54-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man from St John's Wood in London had been arrested.
