Trapped man dies after accident

A man has died after being trapped in his car following a road accident in Essex.

The crash happened in the early hours of Sunday morning in Hanging Hill Lane, Hutton, when two cars were involved in a collision.

An Essex Ambulance spokeswoman said the fire service helped free a trapped man. He was taken to Basildon Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

She said there were no other injuries following the accident.
