Rider killed in garden wall crash

A motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries when the bike he was riding crashed into a garden wall in Dorset.

Police were called to Chickerell Road in Weymouth, close to the Admiral Hardy pub where the rider had crashed on Sunday afternoon.

The rider, who was a man in his late-20s, died from his injuries.

A Dorset Police spokesman said officers were appealing for anyone who may have seen the motorcycle before the crash to come forward.
