Pair bailed after baby boy dies

Baby probe scene

Two people arrested over the death of a three-month-old boy in Dorset have been released on police bail.

Officers were called to a house in Wolverton Road, in the Boscombe area of Bournemouth, on Sunday morning by an ambulance crew.

The baby was taken to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital but was later pronounced dead. Police are treating the baby's death as "unexplained".

The man and woman, both 37, from Bournemouth, were bailed on Sunday.

Earlier, the property was sealed off while the investigation got under way.

House-to-house inquiries have been carried out and the coroner has been informed.
