Arrests made over death of baby

A man and a woman have been arrested after the death of a 10-week old baby at an address in Dorset.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the unexplained sudden death of the boy in the early hours of Friday.

Police were called to a property in Gordon Road, Wimborne, where a 33-year-old man and a woman, 31, were detained.

A Dorset Police spokesman said a post-mortem examination was due to be carried out on Monday.

"No further information is available at this time," he added.
