Residents in west Dorset are being invited to have their say on a plans to protect parts of the Jurassic Coast from coastal erosion and landslips.
The West Dorset District Council scheme will protect 170 properties, roads and services in the East Cliff and Church Cliff areas, east of Lyme Regis.
The proposals were drawn up following public consultation in May last year.
An exhibition will be held on 11 and 12 February at the town's Marine Theatre before a planning application is made.
Steve Woollard, West Dorset District Council's technical service manager, said: "This latest phase of proposed work is challenging and complex.
"It must provide long-term protection for the east of the town yet be affordable and take account of the environmental sensitive nature of the area."
Lyme Regis is built on a particularly unstable stretch of coastline.
West Dorset District Council has already carried out two major schemes to protect and stabilise the main town frontage.
