New appeal over missing Dominic

Dominic Maynard The parents of a teenager missing from a Dorset town for more than two weeks have renewed their appeal for any information about their son.

Dominic Maynard, 19, from Bridport, was last seen on Saturday 17 November dropping off a female friend in the Wyke Regis area of Weymouth.

Two hours later he rang his parents from a payphone outside West Beach Cafe on Bournemouth promenade at 2300 GMT.

His parents said they were spending "every waking hour" looking for him.

Penny and Paul Maynard have been travelling to Bournemouth every day, handing out pictures of their son to try and find out what has happened to him.

Mr Maynard found his son's car in the Durley Road car park in Bournemouth two days after their phone call, on the Monday afternoon.

Sgt Steve Hughes said: "Our inquiries - centred on Bournemouth - are still continuing and we have followed up several calls from the public but we're still no nearer to finding him.

"Dominic's parents have been travelling to Bournemouth each day and they have spent many hours handing out leaflets and looking for their son, who they are desperate to hear from."

When he was last seen Dominic was wearing a grey hooded top, dark slim-fit jeans, a black and white belt and distinctive red and black chequered plimsolls.
