Crash kills teenage motorcyclist

A 19-year-old motorcyclist has died after his motorbike collided with a car in a Dorset town.

The crash between the blue Suzuki bike being driven by a Poole man and a Peugeot occurred on Queen Anne Drive, Merley, on Monday afternoon.

The 24-year-old local man, who was driving the car, was unhurt.

The road remained closed for several hours while police examined the scene. Investigating officers are now appealing for witnesses.
