Motorcyclist killed in road crash

A 42-year-old motorcyclist has died in a collision with a car in Dorset.

The rider of a silver Suzuki motorbike collided with a Peugeot 106 being driven by a woman from Blandford on Saturday afternoon.

The man, who was from Weymouth, died at the scene of the crash on the A354 between Winterborne Whitechurch and Thornicombe.

Police would like to talk to a driver who may have had a near miss with a bike just before the accident occurred.
